We are proud to be partnered with Grand Valley State University to offer co-ops to students studying Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Engineering. Many of our co-op students are offered permanent positions following graduation and join Axis full-time.

Automation Controls Engineer, Senior

The Senior Automation Controls Engineer will design, implement and document control systems for various types of automation and robotic equipment. You will be deeply involved with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, weld/laser design, peripheral device programming, PLC programming, machine power-up, debug, power-up and validation / buyoff.

Applications (Estimating) Engineer: Levels 1-3, & Senior roles

The Applications Engineers of all levels will work within the process engineering department and configure manufacturing system proposals and support the Axis team through the deployment of awarded solutions. Requires knowledge of project budgeting, custom automated equipment, along with manufacturing processes & equipment and systems engineering.
